Reply from Yettysho on May 12 at 5:22 AM Hi NVP Srinivas, There are 2 ways to achieve this 1) You run the report for each subtype separately and manipulate in your spreadsheet by doing a vlook up 2) You run both together, dump in excel. Put your filter on and merge the two together Regards Yetty

Although I'm not familiar wit IT0105, it certainly sounds like the table has at least two keys, PERNR and the subtype you mention. Since you're not limiting the subtype, the query yields 2 records. Although you can collapse the 2 records into 1, it can't be done in a simple ad hoc query. This would require code to accomplish. The other alternative is to download your result into Excel and use a pivot table to "flatten" the records. Use PERNR as the "rows" and the subtype as the "columns". Use the value associated with the subtype as the "values" in the pivot. Use "first" for the values in the pivot or else Excel will use "count" as the default. It all depends on whether this is truly ad hoc, or, if it's a typical ad hoc request that becomes a normal daily report. Lou | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
