Thanks for your kind response, I deleted the .lock file and then tried to run the back up but it got failed again by generating a new lock file this time I deleted the file and also this time I purposely checked if any old bbackup process are running and found them and also killed them but still back luck.

The backup got failed with following notes in logs.
BR0301E SQL error -12545 at location BrDbConnect-3, SQL statement:
'CONNECT /@ARS_PRIMARY'
ORA-12545: Connect failed because target host or object does not exist
BR0310E Connect to database instance ARS/PRIMARY failed
Could you please help in identifying the solution for the same? |
