Actually this environmental browsing calls the transaction XD04.
The change logs is desirable to stay in the system and of course it is a best practice!
For your issue, you can check the following authorisation objects:
S_SCD0, F_KNA1_APP, F_KNA1_GEN, F_KNA1_GRP, V_KNA1_VKO, for field ACTVT (value 08).
You can include these objects in the "FD02-03" roles, and/or delete the assignments to the other roles.

XD03 > Environment > Account Changes > All Fields > Entries > then select the option Customer Master (Bank Details) and there you can find Bank Account Number and also the routing, althoguht we have security in place to allow users that ONLY have FD02/03 access to view and update such information.
This data is coming from the change logs. The SAP data dictionary has indicator to determine if what SAP modules to use. This is the way SAP logs changes for different application areas.
Are you aware of a way to block bank data in the change logs?
