Question from RGNippert on Mar 24 at 8:32 AM Tubular materials are priced by the foot but can only be managed by joint counts and footage tallies at each movement, where appropriate. Due to the differences in the length of each joint, particularly with casing, line pipe and different batches of tubing, it is necessary to record and keep track of both joints and feet in inventory. I am vitally interested in any true solution to this problem. Our IS Team has been unable to come up with a solution.
