Reply from Srinivas_Mandgi on Mar 26 at 2:26 PM Hi Binod, The reason for this is that the deduction of absence quotas by applying for an absence happens only when in the customizing for absences and quotas you create a deduction rule and assign this to a counting rule. The deduction rule has the quotas that need to be deducted from IT 2006 (Absence Quotas) or IT 2007( Attendance Quotas). The counting rule is assigned to the absence which is to deduct that given absence quota . There are some older posts by me on this which you can check on some other configuration issues for quotas not deducting . Sriinivas
