From your explanations, YES, it is possible to create sub Assets!
For example, One can have a brand new BMW 7.20I series as an asset, while a
new engine can be a sub-asset:
A ASUS notebook can be an asset while a new processor can be a sub-asset.
*To configure this in SPRO, use Transanction Code AS11*
- Enter Asset
- Enter Company Code
- Click "Master Data"
- Enter Description
- Enter Company Code
- Click Master Data
The steps above should create your Sub Assets Master.
