So, I created a movement IM 315 | WM 312. Do I enter 312 in the storage location reference? Also, what about the picking strategy, is a movement required here also in the storage location reference

Don't worry about setting one as standard, this is used when automatically posting from one SLoc to another (e.g. for availability checking at goods in), so that you can define the default you want the posting to go to.
Set a value in the SLoc Reference and in the placement/removal strategies you can enter the same value in the SLoc reference and this strategy will be selected when moving stock in your Storage Locations.

I looked at storage location control; however, I don't know which to use as the standard. Regarding the storage type: Do I use the " Assign ID point to storage type" and which storage type is entered here? Should I be concerned with copying the SLOC into the transfer requirement?
