You could think of a storage type ' bulk storage' where you define how many pallets/su's you can store (instead of multiple fixed bins on one bin). I used that one to define a capacity of #of SU's that are possible in one bin.

Subject: No Capacity Check On Fixed Bin

Hi All,

We have a bulk and a fixed bin storage type for a material. Both are SU managed (needed in the fixed Bin as well for some reason, not relevant to this scenario). In the fixed Bin we have multiple physical bins to storage multiple pallets. Now during replenishment the capacity check is not working. We can keep moving in pallets from bulk to fixed Bin without this being checked. Lp24 and lp21 work but with lt01 we can keep storing pallets in fixed Bin. Is it possible to do a capacity check? In the storage type we've tried both setting 3 and 6 but is doesn't make a difference. In material master and storage type master and in the Bin master we've set resp the cap check and quantity
