You can't subtract days from days and get days.

You have to convert the Gegorgian calendar data to Julian, then perform the math, then convert the Julian date number back to Gegorian time.

At least, that is what I have done.

There are also abap function modules to perform t he date difference calculations, you can use them in CMOD and reference them with a BEx variable.

Whatever solution provided by using replacement path variable that's
correct. Create 2 replacement path variable for both the date. Create
another formula where simply do the subtraction to find the days
difference. Eg. Rpvar1 - rpvar2.
