Question from Laurie_Severt on Jan 8 at 9:37 AM
What data sequence does SAP use to calculate scale base value for a Rebate Agreement? Or what is the data sequence used to determine into which scale bucket an invoice is placed.
Here is my scenario:
My user requires a report to show how their rebate gets calculated. (nothing SAP offers meets this requirement); this report should show each scale level and the $ amounts that meet that level.
The rebate agreement has several conditions (some based on Customer/Material, others based on material group 1) all in the same Scale Group (PRSCH) so all of the conditions will be considered in determining the Scale Base Value.
I am retrieving the condition data for the agreement using the same code that SAP uses in SAPMV13A routine BONUS_LESEN (include MV13AF0B)...as called in t/c VBO2 & VBO3. in debug, the retrieved data is identical to what SAP has retrieved in VBO3 for the agreement.
However, when I want to output the data, apparently I am not using the correct sequence of that data in order to calculate the amounts in the correct scale bucket...my bottom line total (of rebate-able sales) matches SAP's total of rebate-able sales.

I am sorting the data in this order:
Agreement
Scale Group
Scale Base Value
Services Rendered Date
Example:
the scale group for the Agreement is an interval scale with "To" values.
The scale levels for the agreement are (in YD2) -
1) 2254554.080 payout % is 0% of $ value
2) 2480009.490 payout % is 2% of $ value
3) 2592737.190 payout % is 3% of $ value
4) 9999999.999 payout % is 5% of $ value

The scale level differences are:
1) 2254554.080
2) 225455.410
3) 109039.066
4) 7407261.81 (or basically anything that is left)
The total customer sales for the year are:
2,589,048.556 YD2 with a value of 604,821.89 USD
YD2 and calculated value by scale level:
1) 2254554.080 YD2 $520995.52 USD
2) 225455.410 YD2 $49418.17 USD
3) 109039.066 YD2 $34408.20 USD
4) 0.000 YD2 $0.00 USD

When I determine what $ go in what bucket on the scales, my payout does not match the projected payout in SAP. My projected payout would be $2020.61 and SAP's is $1817.54. Which tells me that I have something in the wrong scale bucket.

The SAP projected payout comes from the total at the bottom left value of the Sales Volume screen in VBO3.

Can anyone please help me?
