Thank you for your reply. I will elaborate more on our situation. Our new Company code and cost center structure will be changing and the old CC and Cost Centers will be end-dated with no future posting allowed to the old structures. FI has told us that we cannot post retro to the old CC and Cost Centers. A response to our situation was to use the Substitute Cost set up in the table. I wanted to get information on how this table works with FI/CO, and if changes would be needed( I would presume) in the FI side.
I see that table has CC(old) Business Area(not using this) and Cost Center(new Cost Centers). This is a mapping table for posting, I realize, but need to understand the integration of this table between FI/CO and HCM.
