Hi,
Go to pa03
Delete the payroll control record of the particular payroll area that the employee belongs to.

You can now recreate the control record from pao3 thus:
Enter the previous period in the Payroll period field
Enter the current period in Earliest retro acctg period field
Save your entries

Go to pa30 and select the employee
From the menu bar, click utilities, change payroll status
Enter 1st day of the current period ie 01.12.2014 in both the Earliest MD change and Mast data Chng bonus fields.

Release payroll for the current period

Simulate payroll and check for any retro

Subject: Payroll Retro Issue

Hi,

When we are performing payroll (India) for the current month, for one employee it goes retro beyond 2 years though there was no change has been made in master data. Payroll status is also maintained with respective last master data change date (Earliest MD change and Mast.data.chng.bunus).
I was trying to debug the past results as of now I am looking for workaround to stop this retro.

What could be the effect of this retro if not there is no master data change in past records? is there any way to stop the retro temperory?
