I think we would need to know more information. For example:
- How many entries do you expect per month? I worked in a place that had over a million rows/month in the G/L. That would give us insight as to how to go after the data.
- What fields do you expect to see? That would tell us more about the size of the file that will be created and more insight as to how to gather and compile the data
- What is your ultimate goal for this data? Is it for audit purposes? If so, that too will give us insight as to what should be downloaded from the system.
When we know the answers even to these few questions, we would be better able to tell you how you should go about getting the G/L records.
