The key date of the inspection lot (inspection specifications tab) should be greater than the valid from date into the inspection plan.
Please note that the key date of the inspection lot is the creation date, so the date when the GR is posted.

I am trying to post a part after inspection. But the system giving the error message "Characteristics of the material cannot be posted". This I understand is due to absence of inspection plan. We created the inspection plan but the same error persisted. However after the changing the date of inspection plan the problem was solved
We received one more material and same error repeated. In spite of creating inspection plan for a date prior to GR date, the problem persisted. This is happening for almost all parts where inspection plan is created after GR is made. If I directly go to UD inspected of posting inspection results, the material gets posted. But I think this is not the right process
Is there any solution for this issue? |
