Reply from JG-SAPHR on Nov 11 at 3:55 AM If the new company code (where the existing employees have to move) does not have the Org units or positions they are expected to go to, then only you need to create new Org units/positions; similarly for cost centres, jobs, tasks, security profiles, etc. Same with chart of a/c's, etc for FI/CO. Features, schemas, PCR's depend on how they are configured. The new company code may use the same payroll areas. You can use LSMW for mass transfer. Essentially, you need to go through the whole of IMG steps.. This involves quite a significant amount of Testing (system test, UAT) at all levels, Change Management and Scope Management.

With respect to that we have to create new personnel areas/sub areas under the other tax company New cost centers/profit centers Create new establishment IDs Test interfaces related to PAs etc.... My question here is:- We update all the tables for creating new PAs for all the active employees of existing tax company. How about positions? Do we need to touch base these as well? Which other areas do we need to check thoroughly while creating PA/PSAs? We shall check features/schemas/custom tables/interfaces/holiday calendars/reports etc. I will hire a new employee and check the IT0001 if it reflects with new PAs. How about testing other things? Any thing else to be taken care of? Kindly suggest with crystal clear inputs along with transaction codes. Thanks so much for your ideas/suggestions. | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
