Reply from ChrisO on Nov 3 at 6:35 AM Production order completed in October will be with ref to zero standard cost, so 100% variance. Not a huge problem but something to be explained to the management of the business! The prohibition of posting a new costing in the past is logical - you would change the history of the value of all the transactions posted in that period of that item if this was possible. Date of creation is in Nov'14. Production started in Oct'14. In CK40N it refuses to accept a date which is in the past (Oct'14). What will the effect be for the Oct process order costing if the date of the cost standard is only in Nov. NB This is a new item with a new standard. | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
