Your consultant is right.

I'm not sure exactly why you want to assign multiple cost centers to multiple equipments. But I have something that might work if you don't intend running cost reports to reflect the equipments consuming the costs.

When creating your work order, list all your equipments in the object list of the work order. Also maintain your settlement rule manually by listing all the cost centers for all the equipments and also manually calculate the percentage allocation.

Don't know how helpful that will be but you can try it out if it fits your solution.

as I am not sure what you are trying to do
but from what I read your consultant is right

As there is all kinds of info on this that can help you. I have over 75 SAP implementation behind me and each is matter of learning what the user wants and what SAP can give them.
