We current plan our assembly processing using Sales orders, networks and WBS projects.
In the future, we want to drop the need to raise Sales order, but still use networks and WBS projects to manage the configuration and planning dates for a 3 year horizon.
We currently have circa 1000 sales orders live at any one time.
If networks can be independant of sales orders, is there a way of managing them en mass?

Subject: Creating Operative Networks Without Sales Orders
We have a scenario where, today we create operative networks (linked to a std ntk) from a sales order, using a link in CN08 and also using strategy group 85.
We wish to de-link this process and to create the operative ntks independently from the sales orders and purely use the sales orders for dispatch / invoicing purposes.
Can anyone give advice?
