Reply from e_alb on Oct 22 at 10:16 AM One method was managed via business process. We used warehouse management and we were a chemical plant (95%+ liquids). We divided the bins into 3 categories based on how easy they were to count (unopened full containers were verified but not weighed, open containers were verified and weighed). Objectives were set for how many of each category were to be counted each month. The lead counter decided which bins to count and would activate the bins when he was about to count. Every month I ran lx25 to show progress and manage.

I am trying to start a cycle counting program for our warehouse. I do not want to use the ABC analysis method and simply just want to count each storage bin 3x per year. I am having trouble finding how to create inventory documents in SAP without using the ABC analysis. Also is there somewhere that I can put our counting schedule into SAP to have it automatically pull this? |
