Reply from JG-SAPHR on Oct 22 at 8:00 AM Reading P0346 table with TABLE operation, you may be able to check if the start date of the record is more than start date of pay period; similarly end date of the record should not be less than the end date; of course assuming if the employee started service not in the mid period or finishing earlier than end of period.
Also there are functions to read the SV. Check in google or SAP help portal.

We maintain an employee's Pfund contribution plan under IT 0346.
Using the function P0346, the contribution plan table (SV) is created. Within the payroll schema, is there a way to read the content of SV table for processing?
We would like to check if there is a change in the contribution plan of the employee within the payroll period and perform processing accordingly.
