Yes it is possible to create additional dialog instance for this IDES. You can do it that machine or new machine. From the SAPinst program you can find out the the option to install additional application server/dialog instance. Go through installation guide. If you install dialog instance into same machine, instance number should be different than current one.

I am working on SAP IDES system and it has only one instance (Central Instance).
Is there any method to increase the number of instances (like 1 C.I + 1/or more Dialog instances ?
Problems : Logon Groups creation , Load balancing etc..
If this has been discussed earlier, please take me there (i searched and couldn't find )
O/S = Windows 2003 or UBUNTU
D/B = MS SQL or Oracle
Please let me know if more information is needed for better replies ..
