Reply from Kensai on Oct 6 at 5:38 AM Hi Garry, As Snowy said, best bets are the logs, or if you have the time and the DB space, you can: 1.- Create a new temporary client as a copy of 001 customizing. 2.- Do local client copy of user master records through SCCL from DEV 300 the temporary client.. 3.- After remote client copy from PRD to DEV 300 is finished you transport all roles from your main DEV to 300. Or if 300 is your main DEV client then i advise you create a strategy to be able to generate roles and then transport them again to QAS and PRD, so that they don't have different profiles and an inconsistency does not occur. 4.- Do a user master record local client copy from temporary client to DEV 300. Hope our suggestions can help you. Regards.

Dear All, I need to copy my PRD system to a different client (Sandbox) in DEV system. Source system (PRD) has only one Client = PRD300. Target system has Client for Development = DEV110 and for Sandbox Client = DEV300. I need to ensure(validation after completion) that User master records from the existing DEV300 system should be copied back into the system after the refresh. Suggested Answer would be : First export the users from the Target Client (DEV.300 in this case) with Tx SCC8. Then perform a Remote Client Copy from Production with TX SCC9 and after the client copy is complete we use Tx STMS to import the users back into the Target client, then we perform Tx SCC7 for the Post import Activities. Question is : How to validate / compare the records transported successfully or not ?(other than log files) . Can we look/ compare in some tables for records OR any available option in SAP? Thanks, Garry | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
