Seems you have two plants and not company codes. Yes you can have sub
contracting within two plants.
Processing plant has to maintain record of receipt and issue of material
and also return 57 F4 challan.
Process cost gets added to process material. and that is the accounting
entry generated in background when you receive material.

We are having two companies within same company code. One is excise plant and other is non-excise plant. We want to do sub contraction of some SFG items from excise plant to non-excise plant. Is it possible? If possible, what will be the account flow of this process?
