Hi,
No need to create file system on AIX because by default you will Install or
Restore on AIX file system is come so don't think about AIX.
Just restore the backup on new AIX server

Subject: R3 System Copy With Similar Hostname, DB and SAP Version

Hi,
Apart from this you have to create users orasid, sidadm along with there
groups.
Set environment variables similar to source system.
Copy /etc/services file from source system.
Try starting db/sap this will help.
Paste error logs if you are getting any while starting the same.
Check compatability of your sap kernel with latest os on PAM.

Thanks,
Rajesh
