You can also check the server node status using JCMON.. Below are the
steps..
1. jcmon pf=/usr/sap/SID/SYS/SID_DVEBMGS00_HOSTNAME
2. Use option 20 for NW 7.0 , 7.1 (OR) use option 30 for Netweaver 3 onwards

As per general checks we have seen J2EE is not seen in SM51.
a) J2ee_start is 1
b) Config tool have server node
c) SMICM - J2ee(Local host) --> Display is running
