The simplest solution then is to create a Template Chart of Accounts, create a Template Company Code and assign that COA to it; and then use this Template Company Code in OB_GLACC01 (as the Reference Company Code) to copy to your new company codes during set up.

Is it common practice for a large corporation to create a COA template so that every new company setup will have the same basic set of GL accounts (instead of assigning the entire global COA to a new company?) If it is, where in SAP that allows you to setup COA tempates for different types of legal entities setup. Thank you so much for your help. |
