Thanks for all the great input. Tx QAC2 (mvt 323) resolves the issue. (Chonkenoster – the supply is variable, we will put a PO for 100 units, and the vendor may say 10 units are available and will invoice us for those. They will go into our inventory at the vendor. When the plant's supply is low, we will ask the vendor to ship us 20 of the units we own (FIFO). Jimmy – Some to most of the times the material will be received in quality inspection status and we may have to treat the material prior to going to unrestricted status, so we would need to move material from "K" stock status to a plant sloc when the material is still in quality inspection. I tried looking at the consignment process a few months ago and was stuck on moving qi from K stock to a plant sloc. The proposal will be to create a unique sloc for vendor and use qac2 to move material to plant sloc)
