At a very high level, a programmer in .NET or similar language can make calls into SAP and retrieve data as part of an overall program that extracts data from SAP and then loads it into SQL Server. I would suggest the process make a remote function call to SAP that would bring the data needed - like calling a report transaction within SAP and bringing back the result. You can also use functions that exist in SAP - it all depends on what data you want to bring back.

Without further examination and much more on the requirements side, that's the methodology I would suggest. If you yourself do not have SAP knowledge of tables, function modules and such, you will have to get an SAP person to help you do the extraction side.

Subject: Data Extraction from SAP tot SQL Server

Hello SAP Guru,
I am trying to extract some data from SAP system. Since this data I would be using in another non SAP system. Kindly guide me how to pull data automatically from SAP to SQL Server.
