What is the item category in the BOM for the component that the requisition is being created for? If it is N you'll always generate a requisition for the required quantity regardless of on hand stock.

I am creating a production order for a finished material. When I am about to save the production order I can see a purchase requisition is getting generated even though stock is there for the components.
This is happening for all plants.
I am expecting a reservation to be created for components.
Please suggest.
