Reply from JDD4592 on Jul 16 at 10:21 AM Thanks for the response jmcoste! I pulled up a maintenance plan I experiment with. I added two maintenance items to it and did a manual call with IP10. This generated two orders. I then added another maintenance item to the plan and did another manual call with IP10. This generated 3 items (for a total of 5). I only wanted it to create one new order; for the one new maintenance item that had been added. Is there a way to do this? When I do a manual call in IP10, the only prompt I get is for a date. Should I be seeing something else?
| | | ---------------Original Message--------------- From: JDD4592 Sent: Thursday, July 10, 2014 10:30 AM Subject: Calling New Maintenance Items On a Maintenance Plan I have set up a single cycle maintenance plan with key-date. The cycle is set at 1-year cycle and the key date is set as the first day of our fiscal year; 1-OCT. The 40 maintenance items we've created on the plan generated the starting calls fine and those calls have been released as orders. We need to add 4 more maintenance items and call them now. I have created them within the plan and saved the plan, but I assume they will not be called until the next scheduled call date. I would like to generate calls for those 4 items only. Is that possible, and if so what do I need to do? If there's a better way to achieve this I'm open to suggestions as we are just starting to use Preventive Maintenance within SAP. I anticipate we will have the need to add items to our plans frequently, so I need a solution that will work well under repetition. Thanks in advance! | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
