1.hope you maintained this customer under SP partner function while CMR
creation.
2.When you are referencing from contract--what was the copying requirement
and data transfer routines used to copy partner data at header/Item..
Note: Create sales order--just enter this customer number in sold party
field without reference to contract--is the system able to find all
relevant partner functions like SH,BP,PY into your document..
Please update.

create SP . Check partner function assignment PF tab. Whether all pf 's are
automatically determined or not?
