Question from Laurie_Severt on Jun 26 at 9:33 AM how to create TO for qty > TR qty in L_TO_CREATE_TR
i have a custom RF transaction for picking to a production order. i need to create the Transfer Order (from the TR) with a quantity that is greater than the requirement (Transfer Request qty). In other words, i want to pick an entire storage unit even if it is more than i need (overpick).
i am using L_TO_CREATE_TR and i get this error message (L3-199):
"Total for assigned quantities is exceeds quantity to be removed"
Ex: TR Qty is 25 EA. the SU has qty of 90 EA. i want to pick the entire SU.
Partial picking is allowed.
I can pick less than the required quantity; and i can pick the entire required qty; this FM works; any other scenario nets me an error message.
Please help!
