Let us take what exactly the meaning of Horizon in Auto credit check..
As your aware open orders means--""sales orders which has been created and
confirmed --yet to go for delivery"""(partially delivered also will come
under open orders)
You can check the confirmed dates in Schedule lines.
While doing auto credit check whether system has to include open sales
orders with confirmed dates in credit limit calculations will be controlled
by Horizon period.
Note:
1.If the sales order confirmed delivery date* falls under horizon period*--then
system *will calculates *this open order value into credit limits.
2.If the sales order confirmed delivery date* falls beyond horizon
period*--then
system *will not calculate* this open order value into credit limits.
Hope this helps.
*Very important note:* The purpose of calling this credit check as
dynamic--because--if a customer keep on placing an order and business is
unable to deliver(the term business profits will be based on "how much
delivered and how much money paid back by customers"") within this horizon
period--then business is at loss by allocating this stock on customer
name(cannot confirm to any other customer)--so any open orders which is
lying in this horizon period will come into credit calculations---there by
credit related control can be done by business for each customer wise.

Would you kindly help me out for the below problem..
I have an open order created with a customer having zero credit limit on 5th may 2014 having the delivery date 20th june 2014.
Automatic credit control setting having the Horizon of 1 Month.
Order is open in status.
May i know should it go for Credit block or Not..Please Brief .
Also If possible please let me know about this functionality of Horizon.
