I'm not sure there is a way to automatically cancel the requisition at the same time you cancel the PO. You can cancel the PO for any number of reasons. It doesn't mean you don't want the items, perhaps from another vendor. The line item on the requisition becomes open again to be used again on another PO.

This is also true of commitments on projects. Cancelling the PO does not remove the commitment; it only changes the form of the commitment from a PO to a requisition.

Subject: Cancel a PO the Req that was created reappears.

We convert purchase reqs to PO's. MRP runs. Then we'll run MD06, MRP LIST, and it says to cancle the PO. We cancel the PO but then the req is generated and then we need to go in there and cancle the req also. I want the req to be cancelled also. How can i have that done automatically?
