Reply from nitishmarkandeye on May 6 at 9:32 AM Yes, but the job will not run on the DB server because there are no Background WPs there. And anyways, you will not be able to see the DB server in SM51. I have checked that RFC connection ( this RFC connection is used by the DB13 jobs ), but how can I make use of it, to run my job.

The DB server does not have any work processes. Background Job is an external program, whch will run every weekend. brconnect -u / -c -f stats -t all -f collect I understand, that same, is achieved by DB13 jobs by using RFC to the standalone gateway or the gateway used by the DB host. Also, these jobs have elaborate reports written for them, and not specifically an external command. Any idea will be welcome.
