Hi Asad,

1.It is not possible to archive all objects

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/b8/1c c041e01e6624e10000000a1550b0/content.htm

2.We can archive all the objects into archive file server and you can use sessions

3.Archive files are compressed during the archive write job at the archive file level and can also be compressed by the storage provider. The archive files are also encrypted so that you can only read the archive files from the SAP system in which they were archived from.

Ram

Subject: Archiving File Size

Hi Experts,

We are planning to go for archiving project. But beside it, I have two questions.

1. Can we archive all the objects in a single session? If yes then how? If not then
2. Will we archive all the objects into a single archive file?
3. Is the archive file goes compressed? Mean if I select the 50% of 800 GB data to be archived, then what will be the archive file size?

Asad.
