Mr Kodikkunnil Suresh Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment
informed the press at Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu while laying foundation stone
laid for ESIC hospital the following:
- PF wages limit will be increased from Rs.6500/- to Rs.15000/-
- ESI wages limit will be increased from Rs.15000/- to Rs.25000/-
- Pension for un-organized sector workers minimum pension will be
increased to Rs.1000/-
*This will be effective from 1/4/2014. * The Government Order will be
issued on 28th February 2014.
