Reply from Madasamy Arunachalam on Apr 4 at 10:03 AM Hi David SAP documented the steps under sap.help.com, for changing these ports, as in this link, http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/en/44/13 326c747d4943b2fd71136174ca18/content.htm Also we need to check and change in value in config tool , this is missing or not required ? In fact in earlier days, we used to export/import manually config tool configuration but these days, all got changed due to new SWPM/SAPInst tool we used for system copy. regards Swami

I know we can stop DB2 and modify the DB2 communication ports in the /etc/services file, but it seems that the Java Stack stores the DB communication ports somewhere. does anyone know where this is stored in the Java configuration?
