I hope you are generating everything through time evaluation.

Are you maintaining any date types to indicate employee seniority level in IT0041?

Hi,

Here is the example.

Employee A joined company on 12.02.2014 will have 30days of Vacation Quota
accrued every month at 2.5 days. His Quota in IT2006 looks like below:

Quota : Vacation
Entitlement : 30days accrued at 2.5days every month (end of seniority
month). Constant 2.5 days is maintained in base entitlement.
Start Date : 12.02.2014
End Date : 11.02.2015
Ded.start date : 12.02.2015
Ded.end date : 12.10.2016

If you notice the above example, Quota can be availed only next year..
Since this quota can't be used in the current year, client requested to
provide advance quota by way of another quota. say Quota 39. And,no.of days
of leave availed by employee from Quota 39 should be deducted from Vacation
Quota when it is completely accrued & generated before he reaches to the
next seniority level.

Solution for the above request:

So, Quota 39 is manually created with below periods.

Start Date : 12.02.2014
End Date : 11.02.2015
Ded.start date : 12.02.2014
Ded.end date : 11.02.2016

I tried to change generation procedure of vacation Quota by annually
generating the quota using a day balance time type at the end of every
seniority level and then deduct the leave days used from Quota 39. I'm
stuck here , unable to understand how do I query this validation?
My intention of writing the rule is - query - if employee reached end of
seniority level? If yes, then generate 30days Quota and then deduct advance
quota availed until then and balance Quota of vacation should be generated
in IT2006.

Hope the above example is understandable. Thank you very much for your
help..
