You have downloaded the required release version of package SAPHOSTAGENT.SAR
then
1. Extract the downloaded SAPHOSTAGENT.SAR package to a temporary
directory as follows:
*mkdir <upgrade_dir>*
*cd <upgrade_dir>*
*/path/to/SAPCAR -xvf SAPHOSTAGENT.SAR*
The archive contains the saphostexec program.
2. *IBM i:* To start a PASE interactive terminal session, enter the
command *CAL PGM(QP2TERM)*.
3. Switch to the temporary directory used for extracting
SAPHOSTAGENT.SAR.
4. Run the command *saphostexec -upgrade*.
