Question from sagarn on Mar 8 at 10:42 AM
Hi All,

I have a requirement to deactivate the menu functions and application tool bar buttons for the tcode VLPOD. I have achieved this using transaction variants. Now all the menu buttons are deactivated but are still displayed on the screen as disabled.

I need to hide these buttons when they are deactivated.

The reason why these are still displayed in deactivated mode is because of the option in the GUI status E0 of program SAPMV50A. If we navigate from Goto -> Attributes -> Pushbutton Assignment, the option "Display All" is selected. If the option "Hide All" is selected, then these buttons will be hidden as soon as they get deactivated.

Please let me know the following:
1. Is it possible to change this setting in the GUI Status
2. How can it be changed
3. What will be the impact of this change, since it is a SAP standard setting for a standard GUI status.

Thanks,
Sagar Nawathe
