Reply from BJE on Mar 7 at 9:33 AM Rob, As a systems analyst this is what I'd do: set up a pristine scenario (all new master data if necessary) in your DEV or QAS system with several batches of your component(s) sufficient to satisfy your requirement for a single order but not so sufficient that only one batch is will satisfy it. Set your strategy to determine batches in the foreground so you can see what the system is doing and then try to determine what the problem is. A lot of things could be going wrong but some unit testing should tell you if your concept works. BJE

I then created a my batch strategy in COB2, and it consumes a batch. However if my demand is more than the first batch, then I get a COGI. Is it possible to tell the system to consume the required qty from multiple batches? Example.. Consumption requirement = 50 Inventory = batch1 = 25 batch2 = 10 batch3 = 40 so I would like the system to consume the first two and part of the third batch. | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
