Why don't you just pass the GI date you want to use when performing /
calling the goods issue - then the system will do the update for you.

Seems incredibly bad practice to update the date directly unless there is
some reason that you need to do that that you haven't really covered in
your question?

Subject: Stop ATP When Using BAPI_Salesorder_Update

Hi all

I am using BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE to upate the GI Date on the schedule lines of the sales order. Once the dates are updated, the system is carrying out the ATP/Availability check and reverting back the dates updated through BAPI to what they were before the update. So, I don't want the availability check to be carried out when using the BAPI.

Is there a way to suppress the availability check when using BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE. I tried using LOGIC_SWITCH-ATP_WRKMOD field with space and A, but it didn't work.

Any inputs would be highly appreciated and rewarded.

Thanks
Vamsi
