Can you please explain where is the exact issue ? Is it with creation of
stack files through solman OR while deploying component through SUM tool .
If you are getting the error while deploying component through SUM tool ,
then ask SAP development team to provide password . And deploy add on
component later after your upgrade .

Subject: Upgrade not working for Netweaver 7.01 Enterprise Portal
We are trying to process a upgrade from Netweaver 7.01 to Netweaver 7.31 for our EP. We are experiencing issues with the addon components and it will not let us get past stack evaluations. we know we have a good stack file. We have been working with SAP Support for two weeks now and have not moved forward at all. It has a couple of password options and it tells us to request password from SAP support. Problem is SAP Support doesn't seem to know where to find the passwords.
