Last working day(LWD) is the day that the employee finished the service. Hence the pers action would be for that date.
The infotypes like 0, 1, 41, etc should be delimited for this LWD date, a new one would start on the next date and end on high date(31.12.9999).
IT 7, 8 do not need to be delimited or deleted, as these would not be used from the last day + 1 because of empl.status being changed to inactive.

Subject: End of Service Process in HCM

Team,

For some clarification regarding end of service action in PA40.. what should the effective date to update the last working day?
Is it the last working day or last working day +1? It is because , if the last working day of the employee is set as today, then OM , the position will be vacant from today onwards for from tomorrow onwards?
What we are doing is , if am employee's last working date is today..am updating pa40 end service date as today..is it one?

Thanks for the confirmation
