This is becoming fairly common request so there might be more info if you google as well but since we have done a couple of these I'll share some thoughts, you'll need a programmer as you really can't use the SAP reports they aren't real time monitors and also are not made for a large screens so they don't really work well. My favorite is web dynpro app that was created with all the customers key metrics such as open TO's , open TO's older then an hour etc. the setup was a Lenovo all in one PC 27" monitors mounted on a wall with a wifi connection, the monitor had the browser full screen running only that app.
If you need a TV larger then a 27 inch then you'll need to attach a PC to the TV, most all PCs now have HDMI ports and can drive the monitor, hope that gets you started.
