I think you have covered all the step. In scheduling control, strategy
profile I did not see any setting pertaining to scheduling direction when
there is no enough capacity in planning period. Did you try and check the
planning period? What happens if we increase the length of period? We may
also try setting up the error checks. Pl do let me know if you find the
soln.

No, that part actually works fine.
- Set production order availability check as Check capacity during order creation (OPJK)
- Define overall profile (OPJK)
=> capacity check is run when order is created
- Define the overall profile so that it has correct strategy profile (OPD0)
- Define the strategy profile so that it has Finite scheduling in Scheduling control (OPD0)
=> capacity check does finite scheduling for operations according to available capacity
- Define Adjust dates as Adjust basic dates to operation date (OPU3)
=> production order dates are adjusted based on the operations' start and end dates
The problem is that it does not work if there is no available capacity.
