Reply from gudnysaev on Jan 20 at 10:04 AM Hi guys. I'm really stuck in this matter and I would be so gratful for every hint you can give me. My question is still the same: How can I configure the workschedule so that it will allow registration of leave for example on a shift that begins at 00:00 (midnight 1st / 2nd of January) and ends at 08:00 on the 2nd of January? If 1st of January would have been a normal workday the person would have begin working at 20:00 the of January, but as it is a holiday the person should have come to work at midnight instead (but in this case she takes a leave). Everyone on the same shift that worked their hours receive overtime according to the time sheet but should not receive overtime. I would really appreciate if someone out there has a clue and can give me some advice. Thank you, Gudny

I have set up work schedule rule which is a set of day shifts and night shifts (12 hours). Sometimes empl. works from 08:00-20:00 and sometimes from 20:00-08:00. There is one problem regarding holidays that I have problem in resolving. For example 01.01.2014 is a day off and on that day person who should actually start night shift at 20:00 begins working at 00:00 instead (then it is in fact 02.01.2014). This shift should still be related to 01.01.2014. In my case the employee takes a leave for that shift but when in PTMW they try to register the leave an error comes up "Absence during non-working period". I realize why this error shows, that is because the 01.01.2014 is a holiday and the person should not work - so we do not have to register leave - But how can I let the system understand that this variant I created (00:00-08:00) is for the day after 01.01.2014 although it actually is the rest of the shift that should have started that day? I hope you´ll understand what I mean. Best regards, Gudny | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
