When I ran java -version on our AIX system as root, this is what was displayed:
java version "1.5.0"

When I login at <sid>adm and run java -version this is what is displayed:

AIX Admin wants to upgrade the Java in OS level from current level to newer version.
Want to confirm that it will affect the SAP ECC 6.0 processing further due to it? It will be done Online no downtime required. But, worried about the ECC6.0, BI and APO all R/3 systems will work fine after upgrade at OS level?
Please suggest ASAP.
