Reply from durga on Jan 27 at 2:34 AM Dear Caddick, I would like to thank you for your response. Here we are having just 25 users in our production and they will access the system only from 9AM-7PM and the databases sizes are also very low. In Production 132GB and in Quality 126GB. Actually what I am thinking is for just 6GB of data why we go for system refresh or Import/Export. Why don't we go for remote client copy in night times. Here we have only one client in both the systems ie 100. Please suggest me. Thanks, Durga

A remote client copy is possible, but neither the Production client 100 and the QAS.100 can be used while the client copy is taking place. You can perform a client Export/Import but you must make sure the /usr/sap/trans file system has enough free space. Nobody on PRD.100 while the export takes place. Or the best method is to perform a System copy with backup/restore. No down time required on PRD.100 Regards | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
